FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Are tours of the premises available?
A: Yes, between 11AM and 3PM, Tuesday through Saturday, but please call first. We may not be giving tours on a given day if we are full, because as much as we would like to show off our kennel, our primary duty is to care for the pets that are already here, and sometimes that just takes longer.

Q: How do I make a reservation?
A: Call 513-575-4000 during business hours and we’ll take you through the whole procedure. Please have your dates confirmed, biographical information on your pet, etc, when you call.

Q: What if I have to change dates or cancel – can that be done and is there a penalty?
A: Maybe yes, maybe no—it depends on the time of year and how much notice you give us. Call us as soon as you know things are changing; with sufficient notice your deposit, if there is one, will be refunded.

Q: How do you prevent fleas in your kennel?
A: We check each and every incoming pet for fleas. If he has them, we insist on an immediate flea bath which the customer is charged for. Fleas don’t come in, period.

Q: What should I bring?
A: Just up-dated vaccination info and an emergency number. We provide bowls, biscuits, and bedding. You are welcome to bring toys, special treats, or his own bedding (as long as it’s washable) if you wish. Just be sure any items you bring from home are individually labeled or packed in a bag that’s labeled. Remember, all dog toys and bedding look alike after a while.

Q: Should I bring my own food?
A: We have a number of foods in stock, so we’ll often have the food you are already feeding or something similar. If we don’t have the specific brand, you are welcome to bring your own food; just please label the bag or cans. If your pet is on a prescription diet, you will have to bring that.

Q: Can you give my pet medications?
A: Yes, but there is an extra charge; how much depends on how often and how hard it is to administer. Ask for details.

Q: Will my pet get personal attention while there?
A: Yes! Your pet’s happiness and well-being are important to us. Petting your dog or cat, playing with him, putting him at ease, is an important part of this. For extra attention to your pet’s petting or exercise needs, consider ordering Playtimes or Cuddle Times.
